Description
The DVP RD Series Lubricated High Vacuum Pump is a double stage pump designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning applications. The industrial monobloc design with the rotor directly assembled on the motor shaft and using lightweight alloys means that the RD Series pump can be fitted into tight spaces, provided there is good ventilation or assembled on mobile equipment.
The operating principle of the RD Series is similar to lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps. However, the stator is immersed in the lubrification oil which also seals the air loss. The pressure levels reached by this type of pump are higher than other rotary vane pumps. These pumps are equipped with a gas ballast system to avoid the condensation of the water vapor.
