Description
The Quincy Compresor QOF Series oilless scroll air compressors achieve air compression through the orbital motion of two spirals. One stationary, the second mobile, their interaction pulls the air into the compression chamber. In a regular and continuous way, the mobile spiral compresses the air through a reduction of volume. The air flow is directed to the center of the spiral after which it is cooled. As the spirals never make any contact, this compression process does not require any lubrication. The QOF series oilless scroll air compressors are ISO 8753-1 Class Zero certified, which ensures oil-free air for critical processes.
The QOF series are available from 2 to 30 HP in floor mounted, floor mounted with dryer, tank mounted, and tank mounted with dryer configurations. The QOF series is equipped with an IE3 high-efficiency motor and comes with a variety of control and monitoring features that allow an increase in the compressors’ efficiency and reliability. The QOF 2 to 7.5 HP compressors are equipped with gauge controls which automatically start and stop the unit when the required working pressure is reached and the QOF 10 to 30 HP compressors include a graphic controller which maximizes efficiency by controlling the main drive motor and regulating the system pressure within a pre-defined and narrow pressure band. The QOF series also offers a 70 gallon tank air tank and an integrated 37°F dew point refrigerated air dryer options.
