Description
The Powerex AD Duplex Climate Control Lubricated Reciprocating Air Compressor is designed to provide a source of air to power pneumatic systems for industrial applications where the quality of compressed air is critical. The package includes a two-motor (duplex) air compressor and associated equipment, including tank, and an ASME receiver. The only field connections required are the system discharge, power connection at the control panel, and condensate drain connection. All interconnecting piping and wiring is included and operationally tested prior to shipment. Vibration isolation pads are included with the system.
The duplex configuration models are ideal for instrumentation systems requiring an alternate compressor for standby or overload capacity.
Each compressor includes individually precision machined cylinders and lap joint rings to provide for <2ppm oil carryover. A fan type flywheel is provided to maintain low operating temperatures. Each compressor unit is capable of continuous-duty operation. Compressors are shipped with an initial fill of Mobil DTE Heavy compressor oil.
