Description
The Van Air Systems CPP-185, 250 SCFM Cool Pak Pro Aftercooler is a portable aftercooler system with a filter/separator and dual operating positions, designed for use with 250 CFM compressors. It also features a cart for ease of use at the job site with a low-profile handle and wheels to make moving from one job site to another simple.
The Cool Pak Pro addresses the inefficiencies of the original Cool Pak, which positions the filter/separator at the top of the aftercooler. As the aftercooler cools the compressed air, moisture drops out. The problem is that when the separator is located on the high side, the moisture cannot be removed from the aftercooler. The Cool Pak Pro is designed to be laid down on its back. In this orientation, the filter/separator is moved to the low point in the system which allows it to function as intended and improve performance.
