Description
The Bobcat PG240 Diesel Driven Portable Generator is powered by a 282 HP Cummins QSB7-G9 diesel engine and delivers 235 kVA (188 kW). It also features the DualBox enclosure design, which separates the powertrain from the cooling system, allowing independent control of the cooling performance in each compartment.
The PG240 is equipped with separately excited brushless alternators that deliver the motor starting capability required to power tower cranes, rock crushers, and oil field equipment. For more sensitive applications, the solid-state automatic voltage regulators provide the precise voltage control needed for safe operation. A dual-frequency switch also comes standard on the PG240.
