Description
The Powerex Reciprocating Lubricated Pump includes individually precision machined cylinders and lap joint rings for low oil carryover. The inlet filter assures 99% of particulate free air is admited to the unit, and is designed for 2,500 hours of operation in normal conditions before changing. The compressor cylinder is made of cast iron, reducing heat to eliminate the effects of excessive ring and cylinder wear. Low lift stainless steel valves resist carbon build-up for durability, and the reduced number of valves lessens the risk of failure.
The oil lubricated piston slides up and down within the cast iron cylinder, compressing air on the upstroke. The compressor’s crankshaft, wrist pin, and cylinder walls are lubricated by oil within the crankcase.
